Is The Achievers a tutorial centre or an education consultancy?
The Achievers is a Hong Kong IGCSE, A Level and IBDP tutorial centre. SAT, AP and IELTS lessons are also available. Subject tutors teach the courses. Academic Consultants support the learning plan, tutor matching and parent communication. International school admissions is a separate service.
How does the Achievers Methodology support students who want a bigger improvement?
We first review where learning is breaking down. Conceptual Learning addresses knowledge gaps; Exam Techniques addresses lost marks; Academic Coaching supports study routines; Acceleration & Enrichment provides further challenge. A student's plan can combine pathways and changes with tutor feedback and progress reviews. Improvement depends on the starting point, practice and time available.
Should we choose one-to-one lessons or a small class?
One-to-one tutoring can adapt closely to an individual student's pace and topic gaps. A small class can suit students with a compatible curriculum, level and pace. Share the exam board, subjects, recent marked work and timetable so we can discuss a suitable format and confirm availability and fees.
Where are lessons available?
The Achievers has tutoring campuses in Wan Chai and Prince Edward, with online lessons also available. Families at UK boarding schools can enquire about online support around school timetables and Hong Kong holiday lessons; specific times must be confirmed.
