WHO WE SUPPORT
Which IBDP Students Need Tutoring
Support can begin with subject choice and transition, or focus on a specific academic or workload challenge.
SUBJECT SPECIALISTS
IBDP Subjects and Core Components
Subject tutoring and planning support across the diploma's academic core.

Every subject has different demands
A clear plan, delivered by a subject specialistIDENTIFY THE BARRIER
Common IBDP Challenges
Success depends on coordination: subject work, coursework, deadlines, and future goals cannot be planned separately.
HL and SL subject decisions
IA, EE, and TOK expectations
Overlapping coursework and exam deadlines
Academic writing and research skills
Aligning subject choices with university requirements
THE ACHIEVERS METHODOLOGY
The Achievers Methodology for IBDP
We diagnose whether the student needs stronger concepts, better exam execution, workload structure, or greater academic stretch.
BUILD THE FOUNDATION
Conceptual Learning
Rebuild missing knowledge, close topic gaps, and develop the understanding needed to apply concepts with confidence.
CONVERT KNOWLEDGE INTO MARKS
Exam Techniques
Improve timing, answer structure, accuracy, question interpretation, and the use of mark schemes and past papers.
CREATE STRUCTURE
Academic Coaching
Build a workable study routine, organise competing deadlines, and maintain accountability between lessons.
MOVE BEYOND THE CURRICULUM
Acceleration & Enrichment
Challenge high-performing students with advanced content, early preparation, and extension work.
PLAN BACKWARDS FROM THE GOAL
IBDP Workload and Pathway Planning

Questions from parents and students
Understand the curriculum, teaching approach and progress before deciding.
Does IBDP tutoring cover HL and SL, including Maths AA and AI?
We support IBDP subjects at HL and SL, including Mathematics Analysis and Approaches and Applications and Interpretation. Share the exact course, level and examination session so lessons address the correct requirements and the student's current needs.
How do you support IA, EE and TOK while respecting academic integrity?
Support focuses on understanding requirements, research skills, planning and general feedback within school and IB rules. Students must develop and submit their own work. Tutoring does not include writing, rewriting or completing assessed work on a student's behalf.
Can a plan cover both subject gaps and overlapping deadlines?
Yes. Subject tutors address understanding and exam practice while Academic Consultants help coordinate priorities and progress communication. The plan should protect time for independent work rather than simply adding lessons to an already full timetable.
How does the Achievers Methodology support students who want a bigger improvement?
We first review where learning is breaking down. Conceptual Learning addresses knowledge gaps; Exam Techniques addresses lost marks; Academic Coaching supports study routines; Acceleration & Enrichment provides further challenge. A student's plan can combine pathways and changes with tutor feedback and progress reviews. Improvement depends on the starting point, practice and time available.
Should we choose one-to-one lessons or a small class?
One-to-one tutoring can adapt closely to an individual student's pace and topic gaps. A small class can suit students with a compatible curriculum, level and pace. Share the exam board, subjects, recent marked work and timetable so we can discuss a suitable format and confirm availability and fees.
